This program provides a broad continuum of residential/housing options to persons with serious mental illness. These options include 24-hour/7 day per week group home settings, respite rooms, and apartment unit supported housing arrangements. Individuals are assisted with skills required to live in the community independently.
A client may have problems that may interfere with the ability to concentrate or to get along and interact with others. Long repeated stays in hospital(s) have rendered clients ill-equipped to manage everyday tasks and decisions that make up independent living.
Community Residential Rehabilitation Services provides both a step-down and diversion from Warren State Hospital. The program also collaborates with other organizations to provide an emergency shelter for homeless individuals and families.
