School-Based

Individual, family, and group psychotherapy for mental health clients are available to twelve school districts in Mercer County. This outpatient therapy service represents the least restrictive level of care while not interfering with a person's participation in daily routine life activities. School Based Services are available on site at the school when the child or adolescent would not otherwise be able to participate in outpatient counseling. The need for School Based Services most often occurs when the family is unable or unwilling to provide transportation to a community based counseling center.
